Lady Gaga is personally delivering physical copies of her sixth studio album Chromatica in a truck.
In Chromatica time and distance do not exist. Fans have speculated the move is an attempt to prevent a person working for a delivery company from leaking the album online. Though it was quickly taken down, it was quickly discovered and spread across the internet. The singer posted the entire tracklist the same day that the information leaked — presumably because there was no chance of keeping it under wraps any more — confirming that Ariana GrandeBlackpinkand Elton John will all make appearances.
Others think the decision to hand-deliver copies of Chromatica is just a joke about bending the laws of time and space. Please DM as much information as possible. Name, address, phone number, email address, truck number, and if it was a FedEx Express, Ground, or Home Delivery truck so that I can report this to the appropriate station. Happy April Fool's. Stolen Key Found the Lock. Gaga and Metallica? Its going to slaaaay!!!! Jordan you sly sob. If this is real, then I hope not. But if it's fake, then It captures the aesthetic set by the "Stupid Love" cover perfectly. April Fools' Day. And that track listing looks a hot mess. I hope this is not fake. It looks perfect.
And that "Stupid Love" remix might actually save that mediocre-azz song. That font is horrendous and unreadable. Worse even than the Wild Wild West documentary font. If you made this cover though, it looks sick.
I have a feeling it will be another Artpop pop music that seemed forced. Gaga denied the gays her album by pushing back the release date.

Alexis Tang, a Little Monster since day one, understands the positive side effects of calculated leaks. The journey continues. You can officially join me on Chromatica on May Other Gaga fans, like Nicole Francoeur, have mixed feelings about the impact of premature leaks and are willing to ponder both sides of the dilemma.
It was also exciting to hear the direction she was taking with this new album. The negative effect is that it ruins the surprise factor. In order for a popular act to steer clear of sticky-fingered studio personnel, they would have to hunker down and record in private settings.
Every audio engineer, vocalist, instrumentalist, songwriter and producer involved would have to be a trustworthy connection. The recordings would have to remain under lock and key in one location and no early access would be granted to the press for reviews. One of the biggest concerns regarding leaks is whether overall record sales will be impacted. While most popular musicians — Gaga included — have no need to fear a significant dip in sales as a result of leaks, the sheer disrespect of having your hard work released prematurely can be a hard pill to swallow.

It was released on May 29,by Streamline and Interscope Records. Originally scheduled for April 10,the album's release was delayed for seven weeks, due to the COVID pandemic. Gaga and BloodPop served as the album's executive producers. Chromatica is a dance-popsynth-pop and electropop album, incorporating elements of housedisco and many other electronic genres.
Lyrically, it covers themes such as mental health, depression, loneliness, finding love through hardship, the trauma of sexual assault and self-worth, which stands in contrast with the positive and uptempo sound of the album.
Its lead single " Stupid Love " was leaked a month before its release but managed to peak within the top-ten on music charts in over fifteen territories upon its official release, including number five peaks in both the United Kingdom and United States.
Upon release, Chromatica received generally favorable reviews from music critics and debuted atop the Billboard chart withalbum-equivalent unitsincludingpure sales, becoming Gaga's sixth consecutive number-one album in the US. It became the fastest selling album of the year in the UK, as well as the year's fastest selling vinyl record. In press interviews after announcing one final performance of her Dive Bar TourLady Gaga hinted new music would be performed and released during the new leg's stop.
However, that performance was postponed indefinitely due to scheduling conflicts. Talking about previous record JoanneGaga admitted that it was an album that she made for her father, trying to heal his and her family's trauma.
She later realized she "can't fix [her] dad", and called the album a "futile effort" to heal him. Her disappointment drove her into depression and chain-smoking, and writing Chromatica was her way for healing.
Talking about the album's title, Gaga described Chromatica as both "a frame of mind" and a physical place, a planet where equality rules, and stated: "I live on Chromatica, that is where I live.
I went into my frame. I found Earth, I deleted it. Earth is canceled. I live on Chromatica. BloodPop brought it up, and we talked about how Chromatica was essentially on its own when you first look at it, it seems to be about colors, and all the different colors and also music is made of a chromatic scale. So it's all the colors, all the sounds. We're talking about inclusivity and life, and also a lot of what we see around us and what we're experiencing is math, which is very much like music and sound is math as well.
So we talked about that, and then I sort of went back and I said, 'OK, well, yeah, it's inclusivity but it's really a way of thinking', it's not just, 'Oh, Chromatica, we're being inclusive with all the colors, all the people', and when I say, 'All the colors, all the people', I mean way more than we could possibly fathom.
A temporary cover art was released along with the album preorder, showcasing a symbol over a pink background. It received comparison to the yin and yang symbol. And, for me, sound is what healed me in my life period, and it healed me again making this record, and that is really what Chromatica is all about. On April 5,the album's official cover was revealed. She is laying on a large metal grate illuminated by "hot pink neon" light, trapped beneath a massive metal sine wave, which is the previously showcased Chromatica symbol.
BloodPop once again returned as an executive producer on Gaga's album, after co-producing all 11 tracks on the standard edition of Joanne. She cited BloodPop as the main reason she was able to finish the work, as he motivated her to "push forward" to continue the process, and also helped her to get over feeling "miserable" and depressed. After starting the work together, Gaga and BloodPop begin recording the album with the involvement of various producers, whom they invited "based on their strengths to re-imagine the song or production.
When they're inspired, they embroider things.
